Aksarben Creative is pleased to present its newest feature film Green on Green.

About the Project

Green on Green is the fourth feature film from Aksarben Creative and was written and directed by Tom Knoblauch. Knoblauch previously directed Naomi Jones and co-directed Adoptation and Almost a Weekend. The film was developed late 2016 and early 2017 and began filming in April of 2017. Filming took place in Nebraska and featured a Nebraska-based cast and crew. Green on Green premieres August 9 at Aksarben Cinema in Omaha, Nebraska.

About the Cast

Rachel Dinan -  Rachel Dinan plays the lead role of Camille Green in Green on Green. She appeared in Aksarben Creative's third film, Naomi Jones, and the 2017 short film The Living Draft. Dinan earned her BFA as a Musical Theatre major at Nebraska Wesleyan University. She recently moved to Los Angeles to continue acting.

Leah Cardenas - Leah Cardenas portrays Rebekah Durst in Green on Green. She previously played the titular role in Naomi Jones and appeared in the short film The Nuanced Side. Cardenas earned her BFA in Acting from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2017 and served as a producer for Green on Green. She remains active in Omaha in both film and immersive theater.

David Remus - David Remus portrays Fred Lightheart in Green on Green. Remus appeared in Adoptation and Naomi Jones. He has experience as an actor, dancer, and model in Omaha.

Drew Valaika - Drew Valaika portrays Vince Whister in Green on Green. This marks his first appearance in an Aksarben Creative production. Valaika earned his BFA from Nebraska Wesleyan University and studied abroad at the Moscow Art Theatre School. He currently resides in New York City, where he is performing in Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure.

Katie Otten - Katie Otten portrays Sally in Green on Green. Otten appeared in Naomi Jones. She graduated with her Master of Arts in Theatre Performance. She has appeared in numerous feature films, short films, and commercials in and around Omaha, and specializes in stage, film, and voiceover work.

Liz Matukewicz - Liz Matukewicz portrays Dr. Rouget in Green on Green. Matukewicz appeared in Adoptation and Naomi Jones. She has served as a producer on the majority of Aksarben Creative's projects and is the company's Event Coordinator.

About the Filmmakers

Tom Knoblauch - Tom Knoblauch wrote and directed Green on Green. Knoblauch previously co-directed Almost a Weekend and Adoptation and made his solo-directorial debut with Naomi Jones. He has written two novels and currently hosts the podcast The Medium Roast. Knoblauch co-founded Aksarben Creative and serves as Vice President.

Ben Matukewicz - Ben Matukewicz served as a producer on Green on Green. He has produced all of the company's previous projects and co-directed Almost a WeekendAdoptation, and the music video for Bach Mai's I Had a Home. Matukewicz co-founded Aksarben Creative and serves as President.
